The earthquake hit us at a time when there was no light, in Aleppo we have two hours of light a day, it’s cold, it was raining, people got up because of the earthquake and they felt lost and people went out into the streetsGeorge explains.

The Syrian citizen explains that they are “losing hope” and asks a question: “A Syrian victim is not a human victim? Why is everyone going to Turkey and not Syria? He assures that “international aid does not reach Syria” and wonders if they are not worthwhile people: “I am 30 kilometers from the epicenterI have felt it in my body and I see how lost people are. They also deserve to live, they deserve to have the right to help, we deserve to be men and women of the 21st century like anyone who is living today”.

George Sabé explains that it is horrible to know that they are looking for lives among the rubble, that 24 hours have already passed, but they still have the hope that there is someone alive. Besides, He gets emotional when talking about the situation in which he has seen some children: “It is apocalyptic, the situation is terrible for me. We also have victims and there are thousands. It makes us suffer that the world does not want to know anything because we are under sanctions”.
