Football: Lega Pro presidency; tomorrow we vote, challenge Marani-Vulpis – Football

(ANSA) – ROME, 08 FEB – Just a few more hours and the name of the new president of Lega Pro will be known. Two journalists, Matteo Marani, will challenge each other in the extraordinary elective assembly scheduled for tomorrow in Rome at the CONI hall of honour. and Marcel Vulpis. They are running for the position left vacant by Francesco Ghirelli, who resigned on 16 December last year, and the choice of 59 clubs (Juve Next Gen cannot vote) will restore governance to one of the two remaining headless members of the FIGC. The other is The Hague, following the resignation of the president of referees, Alfredo Trentalange.

Marani, journalist and historian, filed his candidacy for the presidency of Lega Pro in ticket with Gianfranco Zola in the role of vice president.

Vulpis, vice president in Ghirelli management and currently acting, runs together with manager Francesco Zicchieri and tax expert Alberto De Nigro, both candidates for the role of vice presidents. (HANDLE).
