Five golds in judo for Córdoba

The State phase of the Conade Games in the judo discipline was developed in Boca Del Río; five gold medals fell and eight classified to the Macro-Regional stage

The action of the Conade Games started in its State stage and in judo eight athletes from Córdoba managed to qualify for the Macro-Regional; The next stage will take place on a date and venue to be confirmed before judokas from the states of Campeche, Chiapas, Hidalgo, IMSS, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintan Roo, Tabasco, Tlaxcala, UNAM and Yucatán.

In total, there were eleven judokas from Cordoba who entered the State phase, eight of them qualifying. Bruno Salazar Ruiz, coach, assured that the result is according to budget.

Jairo Gonzalez Espinoza in the category, Sub 18 Division -50 kg, América González Espinoza of the Sub 15 Division -58kg, Oscar Roberto Millan Flores in the Sub 18 Division -81 kg, Joselin Michell Cruz Serrano within the Sub 15 Division -48 kg and Rafael Arriaga Hernandez in the Sub 21 Division -66kg, were the gold medalists.

Aranza Bello Martínez, Aline Nayelli Arriara Hernández and Silvana Maciel Salgado won silver, but also a ticket to the next round; Avril Flores Ortiz and Fernanda Huerta Serrano were bronze, while Roberto Maciel Salgado finished fourth in his category and division.

More than 120 athletes and 20 coaches from municipalities such as Coatzacoalcos, Minatitlán, Camerino Mendoza, Córdoba, Orizaba, Xalapa, Boca del Río and Veracruz participated in the State stage held this Saturday.
