Eintracht Frankfurt in Leipzig in the individual review: Tuta as a mistake devil

Kevin Trapp: Two goals conceded in Leipzig, before that three against Cologne – away games become a big annoyance for the national goalkeeper. Powerless on the RB hits. Prevented a major failure with feats a goalie in his class must do. The upcoming weakness in away games is not due to him.

Total: Groping from one embarrassment to the next. His bad ball loss was the starting point for 0:1 this time. The Brazilian is currently the error devil in the Eintracht game. He’s not learning. So I urgently need a break from the game.

Makoto Hasebe: Loses influence as a Sovereign in the back three. Even with him in the role of chief organizer, cohesion is crumbling. When RB quickly and purposefully switched to attack mode, the old master (39 years old) from Japan had a difficult time.

Hrvoje Smolcic: Took over the position from regular Evan Ndicka, who received a little lesson from coach Glasner. After initial problems, the Croatian delivered a solid performance. It is questionable whether he is suitable as a future solution as a left central defender.

Ansgar Knauff: Doesn’t get going. Is neither offensive nor defensive a win for the team. He lacked purpose in his actions. So there was another element of uncertainty at play.

Sebastian Rode: The usual dominance did not come from the captain. Was at best the anchor point in the game. Still feeling weak from his illness. After an hour it was off duty.

Djibril Sow: Brought the best with his brilliant hit to 1:2. He was cautiously pleased with his third goal of the season. On the other hand, he was annoyed by the team’s sleepiness in the first half. Sow also adapted to the rut. Because of the fifth yellow card, he now gets a break in Wolfsburg.

Philipp Max: Made his weakest game so far in the Eintracht jersey. The newcomer lacked the usual drive and dynamism.

Jesper Lindström: Literally chasing his eighth goal of the season. The Dane, who likes to run, is currently not using the opportunities that are available to him. He needs to become clearer and more purposeful and shorten his art breaks.

Daichi Kamada: Probably stayed in the first eleven because Mario Götze had to sit out due to injury. However, his performance would have warranted a bench spot. The Japanese was just a follower instead of shaping the game. Is he too busy with his upcoming move to Dortmund?

Randal Colored: Rub yourself up in front. Strong-willed and tireless. Measured against his commitment, however, he only wanted to achieve little. Leipzig goalkeeper Blaswich deflected his treacherous long-range shot over the crossbar. That didn’t ease the Frenchman’s pain over the red card against Naples.

Kristijan Jakic: Got deployment time for Rode. Didn’t push himself for a starting eleven in Wolfsburg.

Aurelius Buta: Continued instead of Max. Introduced right away with the submission to Sow’s connection hit. Livened up the game.

Christopher Lenz: Came for knob. Little changed with him for the better.

Rafael Borré: Was allowed to play for Kamada. Didn’t move much.

Lucas Alario: Replaced Hasebe. Again with short use. Again without scoring as a striker.
