Defeat Tezenis Verona, third defeat in three matches in the second round

In anticipation of the 18th day Tezenis Verona knocked out with Nutribellet Treviso 81-97.

Anderson tries to keep Tezenis alive, Ellis goes to the basket again; Banks puts four in a row forcing Ramagli to time out with Verona at -9. Anderson still on points, Ellis, then Smith; Ellis brings the guests up 29-39, Jurkatamm finds his first two points, Johnson scores two free throws. Before the interval Bortolani’s bomb for -10. Treviso ahead 31-41 after 20 minutes.

Upon returning from the changing rooms Verona starts strong with Johnson and a triple from Bortolani; Cappelletti from free throws brings Tezenis back to a draw, but Iroegbu awakens Treviso. Bortolani finds two more baskets, Ellis brings the guests back to +5; Smith brings the Gialloblù to -3, but Ellis and Banks for 47-52. Smith continues to score, Zanelli responds, Anderson triples for -1. Sorokas replies with the same coin, then Iroegbu does the same (55-60). Smith doesn’t stop, Iroegbu replies, Casarin can be seen from below. Zanelli makes 1 of 2 from free throws and Treviso is still ahead 59-65 at the end of the third quarter.

At the start of the fourth set Casarin loses the ball so Jurkatamm scores +8; Bortolani with a shortened lunette, but Zanelli replies. Ireogbu scores +10, Zanelli triples for 61-74. Smith misses from free throws, Banks scores +14, then Johnson scores five points in a row for -9. Banks and Cappelletti in penetration, the same does 2 on 2 in the line; Sorokas puts the +10 basket, Anderson from three tries to bring back Verona. In the line Iroegbu makes 2 on 2 (73-82), Cappelletti for the new -7, then another technical foul for Anderson and expulsion. The fifth foul by Casarin arrives, a bomb by Bortolani and Treviso calls the timeout. Banks in the line makes 2 for 2, on the other side Smith 1 for 2, then triples from Banks and Treviso again at +10; Verona struggles to score, Cappelletti 2 on 2 from free throws, as well as Bortolani. At the last minute Zanelli finds the triple of +13. Zanelli and Banks close the race, Treviso wins 81-97.
