Club Badminton Soria player Daniela Corchón will participate in the Spain Under-17 International which is being held in Benalmádena this weekend.
Called up with the Spanish National Team, the young woman from Soria will seek to be chosen for the U17 European Championship that will take place in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
Being one of the fixed ones in the last International appointments, the technical managers of the Spanish Federation have decided that Corchón will participate in individual and in both doubles together with Victoria Gutiérrez in the women’s double and Yulien Gil in the mixed, both players from the Balearic Islands.
In singles, she will face the fifth favourite, the player from the Netherlands Flora Wang. In mixed doubles she will have French rivals, while in the women’s doubles draw she will face a Swiss couple.
In the same competition, just a year ago, the Soriana debut in international competition took place. After a year of continuous growth and with the experience gained in events of this level, the Soriana will try to get closer to the podium places in this event.
