Cantù, watch your back. The rivals are closer

And now Cantù begins to feel the breath on the neck of the three direct competitors who won by respecting the forecast and inflicting important differences on their opponents, moving to -2 from S.Bernardo: 30 points for Cantù, 28 for Treviglio and Cremona.

The players from Bergamo beat Urania Milano away 72-84 with two “monstrous” performances by Marini and Clark, both authors of 26 points. Vanoli instead won the Cremona derby against Juvi (63-82), with 11 points in 21 minutes for the newcomer Pacher. Turin, fourth at 27 (with a 3-point penalty), is -1 from Treviglio and Cremona and -3 from Cantù: it easily overcame Latina 80-66, sending four players in double figures.

Taking a look at the Red group, it is impossible not to notice the situation of absolute balance at the top: the three teams with 32 points – Forlì, Cento and Pistoia – will in all probability go to the second phase in the most important group, since Udine – while winning – remains at 6 lengths.

Meanwhile, Cantù will return to the PalaDesio on Sunday at 6 pm to face Jb Monferrato, who has rested. The Piedmontese are returning from seven consecutive defeats.

Advance ticket sales are already active on Vivaticket, on Saturday sale from 10 to 12.30. On Sunday at the PalaDesio the box offices will open at 4.30pm.
