Embiid and Harden were decisive, both finishing with a double-double (Embiid 28 points, 11 rebounds; Harden 26 points, 10 assists), while at home Orlando Paolo Banchero closed by touching the double-double, but with only 13 points and 9 rebounds. In the big match of the day in the success for the Boston Celtics who beat the Brooklyn Nets 139-96. The New York boys have never been in the game, with the Celtics instead sending six players in double figures, led by a Jayson Tatum with 41 points.
Important victory for the Utah Jazz against the Toronto Raptors 131-128. Double double for Trae Young who finishes with 20 points and 12 assists. Success for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Golden State Warriors 119-114 after extra time. They have to complain about the Warriors, who had a 14-point lead at the start of the last quarter, but the Wolves overturned everything led by D’Angelo Russell and his 29 points
Finally, in the last matches of the day, Houston Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-106with 25 points by Eric Gordon, and for the Sacramento Kings in the home of the San Antonio Spurs for 109-119with 34 points and 10 rebounds by Domantas Sabonis. Rinviata, invece, Detroit Pistons-Washington Wizardswith the hosts who were stuck in Texas due to weather conditions after the match against the Dallas Mavericks.
