Badminton Xàtiva disputes the Zaragoza Under-17 Master with Andrea Orquín

The Xàtiva Badminton Club played last weekend the first Under-13/Under-17 Master of this season, held in Alfajarín (Zaragoza), in which Andrea Orquín competed. On the other hand, Badminton Xàtiva also attended last Saturday at the third day of the School Games in the cadet category, which took place in Campello. Five athletes from CB Xàtiva participated, due to the casualties of Selenia Pla, who traveled to Vitoria for the Spanish International Parabadminton, Andrea Orquín who was in the Alfajarín Master, as well as those of Ximo Torres and Sergio Miguel due to illness. The Xàtiva Badminton Club also played the first day of the Autonomous Circuit of the absolute and senior categories of the Valencian Community, held in Teulada, with five athletes: the senior Daniel Meseguer, José Luis Llopis, Santiago Villanueva and Carlos Martínez, and Edu Beltrán, of absolute category. The Setabenses got a 40% win rate in singles and 45% in doubles.

Next weekend, Xàtiva Badminton will play the third day of the School Games in the junior category, which will take place on Saturday in Manises. 12 athletes will attend, accompanied by coach Javier Alcázar. CB Xàtiva will also play in the second round of the National League of Clubs – 2nd division of the Valencian Community, which will be held on Sunday at the Campello, where they will defend the lead achieved in the first round. The team from Seta will face CB Drop Valencia and CB Las Torres de Murcia on this second day.
