The Lakers targeted many players before the deadline, hoping to pull off a little splurge to help LeBron James. Unfortunately, and as the big day approaches, some doors are slowly starting to close. We learn that a player no longer has any chance of joining the City of Angels, to the chagrin of some supporters.
February 9 is approaching, exactly one week away, leaving little time for franchises to take action. You have understood it, but most prefer to wait until the last moment today before validating a possible exchange. The Raptors, the Knicks, the Warriors or the Lakers: so many franchises that should try something before D-Day.
A blow for the Lakers
But no question for these organizations to do anything, especially for the Angelinos. The franchise does not want to sacrifice its first draft rounds for nothing, especially since the targets are numerous at this time of year. However, the Pistons decided to make a rather stunning decision on their side, in the case of Bojan Bogdanovic. The latter has almost become untouchable.

For several weeks, however, it has been said that Detroit was not against the idea of exchanging him. After all, Bogdanovic is a veteran on a rebuilding team, which makes him a prime target for ring contenders, including the Lakers. The latter had made the winger a priority for a while… but his trade should never see the light of day.
This presence of the player at the Pistons is not bad news, since we are talking about an element with more than 20 points on average. Killian Hayes and company can therefore welcome this decision, especially since the franchise intends to quickly climb the slope in the Eastern Conference.

Bojan Bogdanovic won’t move from the Pistons unless a team suddenly decides to significantly increase their offer, which won’t happen. The Lakers expressed serious interest, but Detroit closed the door permanently in this folder. Title contenders have been warned.
