The Portuguese daily Record indeed revealed that l’Olympique de Marseille s’intéressait à Vítor Manuel Carvalho Oliveira, alias Vitinha. The 22-year-old striker, author of 7 goals in 17 Portuguese league games this season, would have caught the eye of Marseille decision-makers, who are looking for a replacement for Bamba Dieng, who left for Lorient.
Only, vitinha, it’s expensive ! His release clause thus amounts to 30 million euros, and the Lusitanian team would not really intend to negotiate. What to end the track? Not really. As indicated by the dailyTeam, the Marseille decision-makers have accelerated on this file, and are already discussing with the player’s entourage. Everything indicates that after the failure Moffi, it is he who is the great chosen one to strengthen the offensive sector of Igor Tudor.
Negotiations started with Braga
The sports newspaper indicates that the player is rather keen to join the Velodrome, with an entourage that has shown itself to be open and has given the green light. It is therefore with the management of Braga that Longoria and his teams are currently discussing. Negotiations which should continue throughout the day on Monday, according to the media.
The staff of the second in the Portuguese championship seems however to camp on its positions and these 30 million euros seem rather prohibitive at first sight.
