FC Twente played a 1-1 draw at home against Feyenoord, the leader of the Netherlands, on Sunday afternoon. Both keepers received many compliments afterwards and Lars Unnerstall was even sporty enough to compliment Justin Bijlow afterwards.

The German understands that Bijlow threw a ball into the field when the Dutch closing post had to use a sliding at the sideline to keep Virgil Misidjan from scoring. “We would also do it the other way around, that is certainly part of it,” Unnerstall said on the VoetbalPrimeur website.

“He is far from that goal and thinks: now I’m really gone. Then he just has to do it,” continues the former PSV player. “I would say: nine out of ten would have done it with us, I think so too,” laughs Unnerstall, who also had some excellent rescues in De Grolsch Veste.
