TRANSFER OVERVIEW. From Ruud Vormer to Daley Blind: find out here what your favorite club is planning during the winter mercato

What are they looking for? It looks like youngsters Andras Nemeth (definitely) and Mika Godts (spoken) will leave the club after this season or during the winter break. They have therefore recently been returned from the A-squad to Jong Genk. To fill those gaps and because KRC is rather thin in the wing attackers (only Joseph Paintsil and Mike Trésor and as backup Angelo Preciado), offensive reinforcements are being sought. The 22-year-old Nigerian Yira Sor was already fished in from Slavia Prague. So offensive reinforcements may still be added, unless Mika Godts still decides to extend his contract. For the rest, the club wants to keep the current core together. An alternative is only sought if someone leaves.

Who is in the picture? Yira Sor has already been recruited. No other names known.

Who can/must leave the club? No one has to leave the club. Nemeth, who feels blocked by Onuachu, wants to look for other places as soon as possible.

What are they looking for? Simple: If nobody leaves, nobody joins. The Finnish winger Casper Terho (19) is already a new face: he comes over from Helsinki and signed his contract with Union in September. Terho already went on a foreign internship and also played in a practice match. He is eligible to play from January 1.

Who is in the picture? No concrete names yet.

Who can/must leave the club? No one should necessarily leave the club, but a solution may be sought for superfluous players such as Viktor Boone or Arnaud Dony.

What are they looking for? A left-footed defender, because Sam Vines is out for a long time. An immediately deployable midfielder is also welcome.

Who is in the picture? Daley Blind, transfer-free after his exit at Ajax. There is competition from Spain. Mateusz Klich (32, Leeds, midfielder) has also been looked at.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? With Radja Nainggolan, the man who needs to leave most urgently has already left. His contract was terminated.

What are they looking for? Scott Parker must first be able to form a good picture of his core. But in any case, a (substitute) goalkeeper is being sought, because Senne Lammens can leave.

Who is in the picture? No specific names have been announced yet.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? The core must be slimmed down, but who has to leave: that depends on the new coach. A solution is still being sought for Owen Otasowie, Ruud Vormer and Daniel Pérez are also still allowed to leave. If Club wants to raise money for Lammens and Noah Mbamba, now is the time.

What are they looking for? The Buffalos do not immediately plan major investments. Should an offensive, creative opportunity present itself, the Ghent administration will not hesitate to strike. The same goes for a midfielder with a long range, a box-to-box player.

Who is in the picture? No concrete names yet.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Many players are out of contract in June, but that does not mean that they will all look for other places during this mercato. Jens Petter Hauge seemed to be on his way to the exit, but the Norwegian seems to have recovered just in time.

What are they looking for? The Rouches are primarily looking for replacements for Selim Amallah and Nicolas Raskin, who were both referred to the B squad because they did not want to renew their contracts. Reinforcements are also being sought on the flanks. Especially on the right back, something can be added after the cruciate ligament injury for Gilles Dewaele.

Who is in the picture? No confirmed transfer target names yet. As in the summer, the club mainly focuses on the English market.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? The club hopes to be able to sell Amallah and Raskin for a limited sum. For Amallah there is concrete interest from Nottingham Forest and Valencia, although it remains to wait for a first offer. A solution is also being sought for Aleksandar Boljevic and John Nekadio.

What are they looking for? At Westerlo they are not immediately looking for reinforcements.

Who is in the picture? Nobody.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? No one has to leave, but it is possible that players who hardly take action themselves direct themselves to a departure or loan. It is quiet in the quiet Kempen for the time being.

What are they looking for? Nothing specific. They are satisfied with their current squad but are open to opportunities in the transfer market. There is foreign interest in Mousa Tamari, including from Nantes. If he leaves, a new right winger must come.

Who is in the picture? No one at the moment.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Joao Gamboa has already returned to Estoril, Portugal. Soufiane Chakla, who trains with the reserves, is also allowed to leave.

What are they looking for? Two players: a midfielder and a striker, with an eye to the future.

Who is in the picture? Young people with growth margin, no concrete names for the time being.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? The rented Brazilian Heitor and left back Dimitar Velkovski, who is out of contract next summer. Dino Hotic’s contract will also expire soon and a bid for him may be accepted.

What are they looking for? STVV is not immediately looking for direct reinforcements.

Who is in the picture? No one at the moment.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Ameen Al Dakhil certainly should not leave, but the young defender is in the picture at Burnley.

What are they looking for? A striker.

Who is in the picture? Sory Kaba, who played at OH Leuven last season and now at the Danish Midtjylland, has already been mentioned.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Wesley Hoedt no longer fits into the plans. Neither does Sebastiano Esposito. He already returned to Inter.

What are they looking for? Especially a deep striker: Nadir Benbouali is not (yet) sufficient, Youssouph Badji was also able to push through. In addition, they are looking for reinforcements in defence: the flush is not wide in the center of the back, but something can also be added on the flanks.

Who is in the picture? There are no concrete names doing the rounds yet, but there is a good chance that an old acquaintance of Felice Mazzu – and therefore also Charleroi – will come.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Badji is allowed, it remains to be seen whether there is concrete interest for some players. Ali Gholizadeh can redeem his World Cup and will be allowed to leave for the right price, in addition, there is also concrete interest for Ken Nkuba, Adem Zorgane and Joris Kayembe. Charleroi has already rejected an offer from the MLS for the latter.

What are they looking for? With an average of two goals per match, it is not surprising that Eupen mainly wants to strengthen himself defensively.

Who is in the picture? For the time being, there are no names of concrete slopes circulating.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? For summer acquisitions Jan Kral and Jan Gorenc, the European adventure seems to be short-lived. They may have again. Stef Peeters and Smail Prevljak are approaching the end of their contracts, but given the precarious situation in the standings, an early departure of the two strongholds seems unlikely.

What are they looking for? “We will not let an opportunity on the market go by, but we are mainly doing our homework for the summer,” said new-fangled sporting director Tim Matthys. Coach Steven Defour would like a replacement for Thibaut Peyre.

Who is in the picture? Gustav Engvall’s loan to the Norwegian Sarpsborg 08 FF is over. Malinwa is looking at whether the Swede, who is still under contract until mid-2024, will rejoin.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Dries Wouters and Iebe Swers were told before the winter internship that they can look for another club. Peyre moves to Al-Batin in Saudi Arabia.

What are they looking for? A scoring striker and especially defensive reinforcement.

Who is in the picture? Pierre Dwomoh, the midfielder who has loaned Antwerp to the Portuguese Braga for the past six months, comes over on a rental basis. KVO also has a purchase option.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? The core is not super wide, so slimming is not an issue at the moment. Unless coach Dominik Thalhammer sees some guys who have absolutely no future in his squad.

What are they looking for? Bernd Storck has already indicated that he wants reinforcements. The German T1 are looking for a left back, defensive midfielder, central defender and a striker.

Who is in the picture? A deal with German central defender Christalino Atemona is close. There is also interest in Dimitar Velkovski (Cercle Brugge) and Ruud Vormer (Club Brugge).

Who can/should leave the club this winter? Aleksandr Radovanovic, Alexandre De Bruyn and Amine Benchaib have to leave. These three players were banished to the B-squad by Storck. Benchaib can count on interest from MVV and Willem II.

What are they looking for? Essevee is looking for defensive reinforcements. Experience desired.

Who is in the picture? Ruud Vormer’s name has regularly been mentioned at the Gaverbeek in recent weeks. Yet Mbaye Leye no longer seems to take into account the arrival of the Dutchman, who has a hefty contract in Bruges.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? In principle, Chinonso Offor will return to Canada this winter. The hired attacker was unable to make his mark sufficiently. Dani Ramirez and Borja Lopez are also eligible for a departure.

What are they looking for? First and foremost a scoring striker, also a central defender and a creative midfielder.

Who is in the picture? It’s guesswork about that. Given the limited financial strength of the club, it may be aimed at rental players who cannot find work elsewhere.

Who can/should leave the club this winter? A possible transfer from strongholder Antoine Bernier to AA Gent can provide the people of Liège with the necessary financial strength to put their transfer wishes into action.
