The Meritorious Master Technical Director Rocco Iannucci was awarded by CONI national team of the Silver Star for Sporting Merit.

Maestro Iannucci, for all the “Maestro Rocco”, received the award from the hands of his excellence the Prefect of Imperia and from Antonio Micillo President of the Liguria Regional Committee of CONI.
Since 1971, founder and technical director of the Judo Club Ventimiglia, the Meritorious Master Rocco Iannucci has held federal technical positions, also lending his work as an instructor at the State Police Student School.
Promoter of numerous educational and social projects for the dissemination of Judo and in favor of citizenship, he has organized many important national and international events in the city of Ventimiglia, significantly contributing to the diffusion of this discipline throughout Italy.
He was also a 1st category national referee and Vice President of the Liguria Fijlkam Regional Committee, Judo sector.

Maestro Rocco Iannucci has given life to a solid Sports Association, rooted in the Ventimiglia area, active incessantly for 52 years, which has written the sports history of the City of Ventimiglia and which looks to the future with many projects to be implemented and many others goals to achieve.
