VANOLI COMMUNICATION
The month just ended was full of basketball for the white and blue “cantera”: from 8 December to 8 January, in fact, the young Vanoli Young were involved, during the Christmas break from the category championships, in numerous tournaments around northern Italy.
In conjunction with the Immaculate Conception the Calendasco Tournament was held, in which the Under 14 (2nd classified) and Under 15 groups took part, winners of the triangular tournament after beating Magik Basket Parma in the final.
On 27 December it was the turn of the Esordienti, who took part in the Bakery Cup together with Piacenza, Crema and Lodi, finishing in 3rd place.
2023 began with a 5th place at the MoM in Parma, a national tournament for eight teams reserved for the Under 15 category, won by Lodi at the end of three days of basketball and fun.
On the morning of 8 January, however, the Vanoli Pinks took to the field in Annicco for the 12th Sara Pagliari Memorial Trophy, while in the afternoon there was space for the men’s sector with a mixed representation of the 2013 clubs from the local area.
Also on 8 January, a quadrangle was held in Reggio Emilia with Faenza, Jolly Basket and Pall. Reggiana, after which the Under 13s attended the LBA Reggio Emilia – Sassari match at the PalaBigi.
Thus ended an intense period, whose objective was certainly to play many matches to improve basketball, but also to be together, on and off the field, to facilitate new acquaintances, consolidate group formation and share new team experiences.
