The Colegio Mayor de San Agustín is one of the three colleges that exist on the campus of the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is one of the emblems of the historic center of the city, located in the former convent of San Agustín, a 17th century building. It was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1964and has outstanding alumni in its ranks such as Miguel Santalices, president of the Galician Parliament.
