The new edition of Tennis Kings Tournament gives its last blows. The rain did not prevent yesterday that the first finals were played on the tracks of the Sports City, in addition to other “semis” matches in search of the different champions of this year.
In this way, the final in the Women’s Absolute category was resolved with the victory of Ruth Torres (who had previously eliminated Paula Prieto from Zamora, 6-1, 6-2) over Deborah Torres by a final score of 3-6 and 6- 6. It is true that in the Cadet category, Deborah was able to get even and took the title of champion against Alba González, 6-1, 6-0. Finally, in the Alevín Masculino final, the title went to Mario Martínez, who defeated Jorge Martínez in an intense duel (0-6, 6-5, 8-10).
For today’s Sunday, if the weather permits and the water does not flood the slopes, there are three other finals planned, all of them in the men’s category. Thus, the Absolute will face Rubén Calvo and Álvaro Calvo; in Children Alberto Macías and Iván Hernández will be measured, to finish off the Juniors where the finalists are Hugo González and Santiago de la Fuente.
