The Spanish Badminton Federation, led by its president Andoni Azurmendi, has signed the Sustainability Manifesto of the Spanish Olympic Committee, thus joining this initiative with which the Olympic entity seeks to develop, implement and improve the sustainable development agenda in the sport.
The adhesion to this project has taken place at the headquarters of the COE with the signing of the manifesto by the president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco, and Andoni Azurmendi himself. This project aims to promote collaboration in the Spanish Olympic movement in terms of environmental and social sustainability, so that it is more sustainable, contributing to the construction of a better world through sport and a greater social awareness regarding The sustainability.
With the signing of this document, the Spanish Badminton Federation joins the #SomosDeporteSostenible Group, a group to which all Spanish sports organizations that want to implement the Paris Agreement, the Sustainable Development Goals and accelerate the change necessary to achieve a sustainable development.
