The Regional Table Tennis Team Championship will be held in Torrijos (Toledo) this Saturday – News from Toledo

The Palacio de Pedro I de Torrijos (Toledo) has hosted this Monday the presentation of the Regional Table Tennis Team Championship for the 2022-2023 season, which will be held this Saturday, January 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Sports Pavilion of this town.

The mayor of Torrijos, Anastasio Arevalillo, and the Councilor for Sports, Félix Bandera, have accompanied the representative of the Castilla-La Mancha Table Tennis Federation, Máximo Villanueva, and the manager of the Torrijos Spin Table Tennis Club, José Ignacio Bermejo, to publicize this event that will bring together different clubs from throughout the region, with 16 teams from different Castilian-La Mancha towns, made up of 3 members each, as reported by the City Council in a press release.

This will result in nearly fifty people visiting Torrijos on the occasion of the aforementioned championship that will once again allow this municipality to spread its name throughout the region through something as healthy as practicing sports, in this case, table tennis, and have the economic promotion that also goes hand in hand with this type of event.

The championship will take place in the morning and in the afternoon and will be played through the World Cup system (the first team to reach 3 points wins the match).

The Castilla-La Mancha Table Tennis Federation organizes this competition with the collaboration of the Torrijos Spin Table Tennis Club, the Torrijos City Council and the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board.
