The Mets 92 fall against Roanne, Fos-sur-Mer returns to victory

Dominating, the Chorale de Roanne offered Boulogne-Levallois (102-84) this Friday at the Palais des sports Marcel-Cerdan and climbed two places in the standings (8th).

From the first quarter, Roanne imposed its law. The many ball losses of Boulogne-Levallois largely benefited the visitors who took an advantage of eight points (30-22). This gap, they will keep it throughout the meeting and even greatly increase it in the final period, won 28-18.

Victor Wembanyama, despite a double-double (31 points and 14 rebounds), could do nothing to prevent his team’s fifth loss this season in Betclic Elite. Opposite, five players finish with more than 10 points, well led by a Ronald March in form (23 points, 9/19).

End of negative series for Fos-sur-Mer

It had been five games since Fos-sur-Mer had not won a success. Against Blois, the players of Rémy Valin ended this series by winning by four points Blois (77-73). They still remain last in the standings but are joined by their evening opponent in the relegation zone.

The match was hung from start to finish and at half-time, the two teams were in a pocket handkerchief (29-27, Fos-sur-Mer advantage). Dominating in rebounds and in the racket, the Black and Yellow accelerated in the third quarter and even counted up to 11 points in advance. But Blois didn’t give up and came back up to give himself a suspenseful money time. Moment that Fos-sur-Mer controlled to afford the final victory, despite his 19 ball losses.

Amadou Sow’s 31 points (11/17 shooting) will therefore not have been enough for Blois, who have not won an away match since November 4th.
