This weekend, at the Antonio Barriento “Chispa” municipal sports center, the III Andalusian Pickleball Circuit Test will take place, a sport that combines characteristics of tennis, badminton and table tennis. The event has been organized by the Sports Delegation and by the Rota Pickleball Club.
On Friday the advanced level individual category will be played from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; while on Saturday the men’s and women’s double matches will be played from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Finally, Sunday will end with the double-mixed matches from 10:00 to 14:00 and with the subsequent awarding of medals.
Some 100 players are expected to attend the event, not only from our Autonomous Community, but also from Salamanca and Madrid, thus giving continuity to the tests already held in Cádiz and Almería.
The organizing bodies, both the Sports Delegation and the Rota Pickleball Club, encourage fans to come to the facilities to enjoy this sporting event.
