CHAN-2023 takes place from Friday January 13 to Saturday February 4 in Algeria. Find the calendar and the results of the competition.

Who will succeed Morocco, double defending champion? Algeria is hosting the 7th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) from January 13 to February 4, 2023. The CHAN is a competition organized by the Confederation of African Football, an equivalent of the CAN but reserved for players playing in the national championships.

The draw:

The 18 teams first compete in a group stage, at the end of which the first and second in groups AB and C, as well as the first in groups D and E are qualified for the quarter-finals.

Group A (Algiers): Algeria, Libya, Ethiopia, Mozambique

Group B (Annaba): DR Congo, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Senegal

Group C (Constantine): Morocco, Sudan, Madagascar, Ghana

Group D (Oran): Mali, Angola, Mauritania

Group E (Oran): Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Niger
