The full-back did not have the best time in the Barranquilla team, despite being the starter, when he arrived at the club in 2020. The dispute over the place with Walmer Pacheco led him to be relegated to the substitute bench.

Today he was confirmed as a new Santa Fe player, for 2023, after being released and reaching an agreement with Junior to end his contract. During the past year, the defender played a total of 22 League commitments, where he was the starter 14 times.
