Red Bull Racing puts Puma aside and announces a new clothing sponsor

The Red Bull Racing team has made a number of sponsorship changes. The biggest change that will be visible is the change of clothing sponsor. The Austrian racing stable says goodbye to Puma and takes the British Castore in its arms instead.

Although there is of course enough money in Formula 1, sponsors for a Formula 1 team are still vital for the necessary financial injections and things such as clothing. In the latter area, Red Bull could count on Puma as standard in recent years. For years, the German clothing brand provided the team clothing and merchandise for the Austrian racing stable and is therefore a permanent fixture if you, as a Max Verstappen fan, have a Red Bull shirt in your closet.

New clothing sponsor

However, that is now changing, as the Milton Keynes formation has decided to switch clothing sponsors for the 2023 season. Puma has been pushed aside and the relatively young British sportswear brand Castore has been taken in instead. The brand was founded in 2015, but is working hard in 2023. Football clubs such as Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United have already started using the new brand, while Feyenoord Rotterdam will also be playing football in Castore clothing from May 2023.

From this season, the Red Bull team clothing will therefore also be provided by the British brand. We will also no longer see software company Citrix, which has been associated with the Austrian racing team for some time, as an important title sponsor for the Verstappen team.
