On February 1, 11 professional baseball teams will be camping in both Miyazaki and Okinawa prefectures. Each team except Seibu, which will start on the 6th, entered the campsite by the 31st and prayed for victory. With the excitement of the WBC in March, measures against the spread of the new coronavirus have been eased, and 11 teams other than Yakult, with a maximum of about 7,000 people, will hold the event without limiting the number of spectators.

Five baseball teams, including Seibu, will hold camps in Miyazaki Prefecture. Orix participated in a welcome parade in Miyazaki to celebrate last season’s first win in Japan in 26 years. Seven teams have started in Okinawa Prefecture, and coach Okada, who is in charge of the Hanshin Tigers for the first time in 15 years, and Nippon-Ham manager Shinjo, who is in his second year, gave instructions to the players at a meeting at the lodgings.
