This afternoon, Pallacanestro Trieste hosted Robert Needham, Consul General of the United States of America based in Milan, at the Allianz Dome. The Consul General, in Trieste on the occasion of an institutional meeting, wanted to meet the team, also in the light of the acquisition of the majority shares by the American company CSG which took place last week.
“Thanks to the Consul General – said the vice president Mario Ice – for this welcome visit: together with the founding partners of CSG we shared objectives and strategies, and underlined how the American ownership of Pallacanestro Trieste can be a great driving force for promotion and interaction between Italy and the USA”.
The vice-president of Pallacanestro Trieste was connected from overseas for the occasion Fitzann Reid and the Managing Director of CSGI, Prabhdeep Singh Sekhon.
The visit could only end on the parquet, where the Consul wanted to meet all the players and staff, wishing them all the best for the rest of the season.
