The Medellín District is consolidated as the epicenter of sporting events and its development with the realization of the “Dream Team Baseball Academy“, an observation contest for prospects with the possibility of reaching the “big leagues”, which has been held in the city since last Thursday, January 26, and will go until this 29th of the same month.

Observers of the “major leagues” observe talents in Medellín

There are more than 150 prospects from the Dominican Republic, Curaçao, Venezuela and Colombia who arrived in Medellín to be observed by more than 50 scouts from the main teams in the United States such as the Boston Red Sox and the Pistburg Pirates, among others. With the support of technology, they analyze the batting, pitching and other qualities that allow them to sign these young people.
