PSV Eindhoven today wants to introduce Thorgan Hazard as a new addition, but the Dutch can also lose a Belgian talent.
Johan Bakayoko (19) was in the spotlight of the French top club PSG and the club of Mbappé and Messi meanwhile made a first offer. That was swept off the table by the people of Eindhoven and the question is whether the French will make another attempt. PSG’s goal was to buy Bakayoko and then mature him elsewhere with an eye to the future.
The Belgian international, who played with the youth of Anderlecht and Club Brugge and made the switch to PSV in 2019, made an impression in the Netherlands. Bakayoko scored a few great goals for Jong PSV in the second division, but this season he has also played 14 matches for the A-team in which he scored 3 times. Striker coach Ruud van Nistelrooij sees a lot of potential in him. The teenager with Ivorian roots still has a contract in Eindhoven until 2025 and his market value is estimated at 4.5 million euros.
