NBA: injured in the back of the right thigh, Luguentz Dort will not play against the Cavaliers

OKLAHOMA CITY – Injured in the back of his right thigh, Montreal’s Luguentz Dort will not play in the Thunder’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Oklahoma City on Friday.

In his last five games, the 23-year-old has shined with a 51.7% success rate for three-pointers (15 for 29).

This season, Dort has per game averages of 14.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

Recognized more for his hard work in defense, Dort is fourth in the league with 44 stray ball seizures.

Dort will miss only a second game this season. He was also absent on December 7 in Memphis, the result of a bruised left knee.

Victorious five times in seven games, OKC is in 11th place in the West, half a game behind the Utah Jazz, 10th.
