NBA All-Star Game, reserves according to ClutchPoints

The quintets for the All-Star Game have now emerged, with LeBron James e Giannis Antetokounmpo who will be the captains of the two teams as they have received the highest number of votes, and unlike in previous years they will have to choose their teammates only a few minutes before the tap-off.

The quintet from the East in addition to Giannis will be able to count on Kyrie Irving e Donovan Mitchell as guards and as wings Jayson Tatum e Kevin Durantprovided that the latter recovers from the injury. In the West alongside LeBron we have Nikola Jokic e Zion Williamson and as guards Stephen Curry e Luka Doncic.

The coaches will then have to choose the reserves that will complete the roster of teams for the all-star game to be held Feb. 19 in Salt Lake City. Here are ClutchPoints predictions on the matter.

All-Star Game riserve Western Conference

Selecting seven players in the West isn’t all that complex: I Morant e Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are easy picks, with the former leading the Grizzlies second to the West and one of the league’s most spectacular players, while SGA has taken the leap this season to establish himself as one of the top scorers in the NBA at 30.8 points on average, without missing the contribution in defense with 1.7 steals per game.

Another certainty is Domantas Saboniswho was able to revitalize the Sacramento Kings currently third in the West and leads the NBA in rebounds per game (12.4).

Damian Lillard ed Anthony Davis both redeemed last season’s lackluster and deserve the place: Portland’s leader is the sixth scorer in the league 30.1 points average and just coming off a 60-point performance, while The UniBrow just returned from an injury that interrupted a streak of games averaging over 30 points and 10 rebounds.

The last two places go to the prerogative of Lauri Markkanenwho is one of MIP’s leading award nominees and travels to 24.8 points and 8.7 rebounds average and De’Aaron Fox, who contributed to the Kings’ recovery and is one of the best in the league in “clutch” situations, with 4.7 points scored and 60% shooting with the game in the balance.

Riserve All-Star Game Eastern Conference

The situation in the East is a little more complex, but let’s start with the certainties: Joel Embiid he is the most famous excluded from the quintets as well as the best scorer in league a 33.4 points average, e Jaylen Brown he’s the best sidekick Tatum could ask for at the Celtics.

In addition to them we must reward the great vintage of Tyrese Haliburtoncapable of leading Indiana with 20.2 points and 10.2 assists per game and James Hardenwho, although not in his best season, records 21.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 11.1 assists per game.

At this point we have chosen to reward Bam Adebayostill in contention for the DPOY and capable of adding 21.6 points and 10.6 rebounds to his great defense, to the detriment of teammate Jimmy Butler, who missed too many games to be selected.

Last places go to Pascal I’m sorrylight of the Raptors at 25.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, and Julius Randlecapable of recording 24.8 points and 10.9 rebounds and slightly preferred to teammate Jalen Brunson, author of a great first season at the New York Knicks.
