NBA – After knee injury: Another two weeks break for Durant

Cologne (SID) – The Brooklyn Nets will have to do without their superstar Kevin Durant for at least two more weeks in the North American basketball league NBA. The 12-time Allstar is suffering from a ligament strain in his right knee, sustained during his team’s win against the Miami Heat in early January.

The team said Durant is due to be re-examined in 14 days, but the recovery is going according to plan. Brooklyn sits fourth in the Eastern Conference, thanks in part to the former MVP’s previous strong performances. Durant has averaged almost 30 points so far this season.
