BILD knows: Flick allowed himself an extensive vacation until January 23. Since this Monday he is back at the start!
The national coach started 2023 for the national team with a three-day coaching workshop with his staff in Frankfurt.
In the middle of the week, Flick and his coaching team manned Bundesliga games to watch. New: Flick & Co. try to visit the stadium incognito.
When asked by BILD, Flick did not reveal which games he would attend this Bundesliga weekend.
Background: Flick would like to avoid drawing conclusions about his nominations. The national coach wants to present a few surprises when he announces the squad for the home games against Peru in Mainz (March 25) and Belgium in Cologne (March 28) on March 17.

Flick announced in a DFB announcement: “It is now important for us to try out a few things, and we will make courageous and surprising decisions. We are really looking forward to the games – everyone is dying to get things going again.”
