National High School Judo Championship Ibaraki Preliminary Tournament
On January 13th and 19th, 5th year of Reiwa, the Ibaraki preliminaries for the National High School Championships were held at the Ibaraki Budokan.
Our school’s judo club won both the men’s and women’s team championships.
The boys won the championship for the first time in 10 years and the 14th time, and the girls won the championship for the second time in two consecutive years.
We look forward to seeing you at the national competition.
Also,Katsuki Mizuno in the men’s 66kg class and Tenryu Shimizu in the 81kg class also won the individual competition.
In females, noNozomi Kurosawa won the division class.
Each of them decided to participate in the national competition in the individual match.

The national tournament will be held at Nippon Budokan on March 20th and 21st, 2023.
