Limoges CSP receives Malaga

The CSP receives Malaga this Tuesday in Beaublanc, for its second match of the BCL TOP 16. After their defeat in Istanbul, Limoges must win to hope for a European future, but it will be hard against very solid Spaniards. Limoges which, moreover, records the departure of one of its pivots, but its replacement is found.

On paper, it is clearly the Spaniards who are the favorites of this meeting. For Massimo Cancellieri, Malaga would have its place in the Euroleague, and Limoges will have to play a very big game to try to win: “It is true that it is difficult, but now we are at least 9, 10 players, and we can at least try. I think the quality is not going to be the same.”

Off the floor, Limoges separated, by mutual agreement, from his pivot Gavin Shilling. Instead, he signed the Cameroonian-born veteran, Kenny Kadji, 34 years old, 2 meters 10.

He has the size, the experience of the high level, the athletic capacities still despite his age to protect the circle and we find that there is a complementarity with Wilfied at this level.
