Two teams who both chose the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Dewa United (DU) clashed against Persita, Sunday afternoon.

Surprisingly, Dewa United convincingly beat Persita with a narrow score of 3 – 2.

Three goals from Dewa United were scored by Karim Rossi who scored a brace in the 35th and 52nd minutes, another goal was scored by Majed Osman in the 49th minute.

Persita, who at the start of the 2022-2023 League 1 season once topped the standings, could only score two goals through Ramiro Fergonzi in the 21st minute and Bae Sin-yeong in the 67th minute.

The presence of former Galatasaray coach Jan Olde Riekerink brought significant changes to the Tangsel Warriors squad, nicknamed Dewa United.
