Latest BWF Ranking: Marcus/Kevin Up, Apri/Fadia Breaks Top 5 Pages all

KOMPAS.com – Indonesian women’s doubles pair, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, broke into the top 5 in the latest BWF rankings, 17 January 2023.

Apri/Fadia previously managed to qualify for the semifinals of the Malaysia Open 2023m, but had to fall because Fadia was injured.

Their success in competing in the top four became a springboard for Indonesia’s mainstay women’s doubles to break into the top 5 of the BWF rankings.

Prior to the 2023 Malaysia Open, they were in 11th place. That is, Apri/Fadia rose six ranks.

The Indonesian men’s doubles pair, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, also experienced an increase in ranking.

Marcus/Kevin moved up four places from 23rd to 19th.

Apart from these two representatives, there are several Indonesian athletes who have experienced an increase in the latest BWF ranking update.

They are Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.
