Jaka and Aranguren, who have fought but the mistakes made at the end have taken an excessive toll on them, beat Jaka and Aranguren in the fronton

Laso and Imaz are taking the pulse of Parejas. This Saturday they have added their third consecutive victory against Jaka and Aranguren, which allows them to stay at the top of the table and aspire to the second place that grants a direct pass to the semifinals. The Colorados have won their fifth point in a duel from less to more against some rivals for whom the match has been long again. They have paid dearly for the mistakes made in the last part, although the striker from Lizartza has not been very lucky with the plate in his shots.

The winners have found it difficult to enter the game and have allowed their rivals to grow. The striker from Bizkarreta-Gerendiain missed a couple of hooks, while the blues were quite comfortable on the pitch. Aranguren sent a ball to the rebound with his right foot, and Jaka hit a volley that allowed them to take the lead in the luminous 1-7.

However, the winners have had patience and enough resources to react. Laso has insisted and things have started to turn out for him. He has gained prominence as he has paced the match and has controlled the situation. He has infected Oiartzun’s bodyguard, who has shown himself to be very confident and has begun to delay the ball further.

In this way they have started the comeback because their opponents have become more aware of defending than of anything else. But Jaka and Aranguren have not shrunk. Located at the bottom of the table, they don’t have any pressure. Although the situation has been complicated for them because they were dominated, they have clung to the confrontation and have not allowed the Colorados to have more than four goals ahead (16-12).

They have cast the rest, and Lizartza’s man has managed to tangle in the happy pictures to tighten things up and get the numbers to coincide again in the light (16-16). But that’s as far as his options have come. In the last part of the clash, Jaka played it but had no luck. A couple of his shots have ended up on the plate and have helped his rivals achieve the peace of mind they were looking for. Lizartza’s man insisted because he saw how the game was getting out of hand, but he was no longer able to straighten the situation.

Victoria de Urrutikoetxea and Albisu

Urrutikoetxea and Albisu, for their part, have added their second consecutive victory in the Buñuel fronton that allows them to ratify the improvement experienced in the last match and enter the pomade for the privileged places. They have beaten Peña II and Mariezkurrena II (22-17) in a tough duel in which they have been quite regular and in tune. The striker from Biscay has been fine in the shot, while his teammate has endured well the attacks of the Berriozar defender, who returned to activity after recovering his right.

Mariezkurrena II, however, has not enjoyed what he has on other occasions, while his striker has once again been intermittent. The meeting has kept the balance until the equator. Although the Colorados have almost always been ahead, their advantage has not exceeded three goals.

It was from the 12-1 draw when Zaratamo’s and Ataun’s have achieved a 9-1 run that has put a lot of pressure on their rivals because they saw that the match was slipping away. They have tried to react but it was too late. Although they have managed to cut the difference, the Colorados have kept a cool head and have secured the victory (22-17).

This Sunday at Bizkaia

The last match of the eighth day will be played this Sunday (5:00 p.m.) at the Bizkaia fronton. Altuna III and Tolosa face Elordi and Zabaleta. The seconds will start as favorites given their career so far. They don’t know what it’s like to lose, and they want to secure their place in the semifinals as soon as possible. The Guipuzcoans will look for the surprise that allows them to continue in the noble part of the classification.
