The Austrian judo championships in the age groups U18 and U23 were held in Feldkirch in Vorarlberg. The judoka from JZ Rapso from Alkoven were each able to win a medal.
In the U18 category, Anna Gangl only had to admit defeat to the eventual winner Nina Auer (Creativ Graz) in the weight class up to 44kg and took silver.
In the U23 Lukas Zoitl (-81kg) fought his way into the semi-finals with 2 Ippon victories, where he narrowly lost to Andreas Wagner (Galaxy Tigers). In the subsequent battle for third place, Zoitl clearly won with Ippon.
