Julià Naranjo is from this week the new coach of the senior team of the Girona Futsal School. The Catalan, 62 years old and with extensive experience on the bench, will make his debut tomorrow at the Palau-sacosta stadium against Lloret in a match corresponding to the semi-finals of the Girona Cup. The club has decided on a change of direction with the aim of having more guarantees to fight for promotion to the Third Division and has reached an agreement with Jordi Castejón, the outgoing coach, thus ending a stage . The team is currently in third place in Group 1 of the Catalan Honor Division. After nine days he has added 19 points. Naranjo still approaches this new stage “with excitement and a lot of desire” and explains that “when the club contacted me to make me a proposal, I didn’t think much of it”.
