Judo from Hidalgo already has its agenda – El Sol de Hidalgo

The state judo team already has an agenda for this year, the Mexican Federation of this sport announced the calendar of both national and international competitions.

The activity for this sport will begin from January 27 to 29 with the Grand Prix in Portugal, on February 4 and 5 the Grand Slam in France and from the 16 to 18 of the same month the Grand Slam in Israel, Verónica González Pastén, president of the Hidalguense Judo Association, reported that they are pending a possible call.

“I still do not have data on Paulina Garnica’s departures, we depend on the Mexican Judo Federation to determine the events in which they will participate so that we can be pending from there.”

Therefore, Hidalgo would have his first official competition this year from March 9 to 12 with the National Tournament “Prof. Tomoyoshi Yamaguchi” with sub13, sub15, cadet, junior and senior categories, in Campeche, where passes to the Conade National Games will be sought.

For this month, part of the state team will go to Yucatan for a camp that will serve as preparation to increase the level towards the Conade National Games.

Regarding strong cards for the national team, Verónica González mentioned that Paulina Garnica would start, another athlete who would have possibilities would be Marcela García, who has also had outstanding performances at the national level.

For the month of March there will also be competitions in Uzbekistan Colombia, Georgia, Panama and Turkey.
