Jelinya PSSI, Persib Bandung Threatened with Sanctions for Playing Rachmat Irianto in the Second Round

VOICE OF SEMARANG – Sanctions will again be given by PSSI to Persib Bandung for being proven to have violated disciplinary regulations in League 1.

Most recently, PSSI apparently closely monitored what happened during the Persib Bandung match at the Madura United cage on Friday 20 January 2023 yesterday.

This was because Persib Bandung player Rachmat Irianto was brought on to the field in the second half.

PSSI apparently knew that the inclusion of Rchmat Irianto in the 46th minute to replace Frets Butuan was a violation of disciplinary regulations in League 1.

The PSSI sanction was also waiting, Persib Bandung was threatened with additional sanctions because they were considered to have violated regulations after playing Rachmat Irianto in the second half.

Information that Persib Bandung is threatened with additional sanctions by PSSI for including Rachmat Irianto in the second half was reported by the Instagram account @masperdipersib on Monday 23 January 2023.

In his upload, it was explained that Rachmat Irianto should have played first in the first round because he was the one present at the session (Prematch Press Conference).

This refers to League 1 regulations, that players who attend the Prematch Press Conference are players who will be deployed as starters.

Meanwhile, Persib Bandung only played Rachmat Irianto in the second round.

Previously, PSSI had imposed sanctions on Persib Bandung in the results of the PSSI Disciplinary Committee meeting on January 17, 2023.

1.Match: Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta

– Type of Violation: there are several banners from Persib Bandung supporters that are provocative and discriminatory
– Punishment: A fine of IDR 20,000,000

2. Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta match
– Competition Name: BRI League 1 2022/2023
– Match: Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta
– Event Date: January 11, 2023
– Type of Violation: bottles and plastic filled with water were thrown, 2 flares and a smoke bomb were fired by Persib Bandung supporters
– Punishment: Fine of IDR 100,000,000.
