Confirmed that the fifth and last act of the winter series will take place in the Ría de Arosa on February 11-12

Fourth and penultimate act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series in the waters of the Vigo estuary, led by the Asociación de la Clase and the Real Club Náutico de Vigo. Nearly twenty units of the international reference monodesign are at the starting line, with the powerful Galician fleet based in the Vigo and Betanzos estuaries, as well as units based at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, ​​which also organizes its Winter Series, but avoiding the coincidence of dates with the Villalia, to promote the exchange of boats and crews.

Who will be absent in the fourth act, will be the skipper of the current leader, which is La Guardia & Moreira: Gonzalo Araújo, who is currently competing in the Rolex Cup that takes place in the South American cone… between Argentina and Uruguay… between the southern capital Buenos Aires and the summer capital of Punta del Este. The place of the prestigious skipper from Lugo based in Vigo, will be occupied by Malalo Bermúdez de Castro from A Coruña… who takes the J70 from Araújo, when he is the leader, ahead of Nacua Sogacsa (nine points away) and the boats from Ourense of Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal : Green April and Red April. After them the Pazo de Cea, Seneca SW, Sailway Academy and the Marnatura 1 from Vigo.

In this fourth act, there will also be other Catalan J70s, and among them the Hang-Ten CSI with Jorge Martínez Doreste from the Canary Islands, who was already in the third act in Vigo and was really good. He has also confirmed that the Sail Cascais of the Lusitanian Olympian Vasco Sherpa, the highest level J70 of the Portuguese national team, will compete. The competition will be held on Saturday and Sunday and start on Saturday at the edge of half past one in the afternoon.

Finally, on Friday the Organization confirmed that the fifth and last act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series will be held in the waters of the Arousa estuary, on February 11 and 12, based on the emblematic island of A Toxa.
