frightening moment too Conor McGregor – The UFC star was just hit by a car going at full speed as he was riding his bike on Friday… but thankfully he seems to be fine.
McGregor, 34, shared screenshots of the scene on social media… showing off his expensive Orbea bike lying in the middle of the road.
“I just got a car bang from behind,” Connor said in a post on Instagram. “Sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me. He just drove right through me. Thank God it wasn’t my time.”
In a video posted after the accident, McGregor is shown distraught by the aftermath of the crash… and you can hear the driver’s apologies at length.
“It’s all good, it’s all good,” McGregor said. “Don’t worry.”
Connor clearly understands the seriousness of the situation… saying, “I could have been dead in there, dude, look!” and “Jesus Christ… I think I’ll get out of there with my life.”
McGregor’s pants ripped when he fell to the ground… but as far as physical damage goes, it appears he didn’t sustain any injuries.
“Thank you also wrestling and judo,” said Connor. “The awareness of the drop saved my life ????”
Eventually, Connor got a ride from the driver who hit him after explaining that his bike was “tuned”.
