Hull City manager Liam Rosenior denied the departure of Óscar Estupiñán | Colombians Abroad

Óscar Estupiñán has become one of the most important pieces, not only in the Championship, but throughout England. Aston Villa has just delivered the coup by signing Jhon Jáder Durán, one of the Colombian pearls, but he would not be the only coffee grower to be able to enjoy the most important and competitive league competition in the world. Estupiñán’s numbers with Hull City, being the second scorer in the competition with 12 goals, one behind Chuba Akpom, put him within big clubs.

Óscar Estupiñán’s performances are in the crosshairs of four Premier League teams, one of them, a historic player who is now struggling not to be relegated. Estupiñán would not stray too far from the Championship, as each one of them is trying not to lose the category in uncomfortable positions.

Everton, Bournemouth, Southampton and Nottingham Forest, two of these recently promoted to the Premier League follow in the footsteps of Óscar Estupiñán. The Colombian goalscorer would not leave Hull City unless a stellar and high offer for the Championship team arrives. Liam Rosenior, Hull’s technical director, spoke about the importance of Valle del Cauca this season. Oscar scored in the equalizer on the hour against Huddersfield Town and good comments followed, with one posting on the club’s official account saying, “He just went off and did it.”

Liam Rosenior, Hull City strategist, denied the possibility of the man from Cali leaving the club, saying that “I will fight tooth and nail to keep him here” and then as the days went by he completed, “it is natural that when you have good players and it’s January you’re going to have speculation. But like I said before, it’s going to take something spectacular for us to even consider leaving the club. He loves being here and getting fit, it’s a key part of my plan and I have no plans to let him leave right now.” It is more than clear that if a surprising offer for the Colombian does not arrive, they will not let him go that easily.
