Thirty years old, Victor Perez won this sunday le HSBC Championship on the Yas Links of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, counting for the European Golf Tour. This is the best victory for the Frenchman who won with a one-step lead on the total score of -18, ahead of Sweden’s Sebastian Söderbergh and Australia’s Min Woo Lee (-17), as well as Ireland’s Padraig Harrington (-16). It’s the 3e victory of the French n°1 after his successes at the Dunhill Links Championship in 2019 then at the Dutch Open in 2022.

Author of a last card of 66, the Frenchman built his victory thanks to a fantastic shot managed in a bunker on hole n°17, signing an almost unexpected birdie.
