Erling Haaland was coached by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde. It was said that the sharp striker for Manchester City was unable to head the ball.
Haaland was coached by Solskjaer when he was still in Molde’s uniform. This happened in 2017-2019.
Haaland, who almost followed Solskjaer to Manchester United, said he was grateful to his former coach. Because, Solskjaer taught him many things, including heading the ball.

“The first thing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said to me was, ‘You don’t know how to head the ball. We’ll get over it,” recalls Erling Haaland, in his interview with GQ.
“That’s what we did for two years, almost the whole period at Molde. And that’s a good thing, because now I can score goals with my head. Thanks to them,” he said.
Haaland himself transformed into a terrible striker after leaving Molde. He joined RB Salzburg, and scored 29 goals in 27 matches.
That sharpness made him bought by Borussia Dortmund, and was able to score 86 goals in 89 matches. Now, Erling Haaland has moved again to Manchester City, and can score 27 goals in 24 matches.
