Fedojudo classified three to the world ranking

Gilberto García affirmed that they are planning the work for this year’s calendar events

Placing three athletes in the Olympic ranking, as well as matching their performance in the Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador and ratify the gold medals in the Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile, were part of the objectives set by the ordinary general assembly of the Dominican Judo Federation (Fedojudo).

Among other points of the program that Fedojudo will carry out this year, there are the development events carried out by the associations in the cadet, junior, senior and child categories.

The president of Fedojudo, Gilberto García, in his report, which was unanimously approved, also cited the World Military Judo Championship; the review of the statutory reform, agreement with the Inefi, the strengthening of Para-judo and hosting events of the Academy of the International Judo Federation (Judo).

In his rendering of accounts, the president of Fedojudo highlighted month by month the different activities carried out during 2022 in the areas of training, national and international events, social activities and exaltations, as well as agreements with national entities.

García also highlighted the teamwork of the entity he directs for the results obtained during the year that ended.

“We have committed leaders. The projections of each year allow us to continue working to achieve better results, ”he assured.

Regarding the results, he cited the performance in the Bolivarian Games held in Valledupar, Colombia; the I Caribbean Games of Guadeloupe, as well as the participation of the superior teams in the qualifiers for the Central American and Caribbean El Salvador 2023; the Pan American Games Santiago de Chile 2023.
