Manchester City has in FA Cup with the FC Arsenal the league leader Premier League kicked out of the competition.
City won 1-0 (0-0) against Arsenal on Friday (01/27/2023) and is thus in the round of 16. The Dutch international Nathan Aké scored the decisive goal (65th minute).
All other games of the current round will be played this weekend, the round of 16, which starts on March 1st, will be drawn on January 30th.
Ortega has to parry several times
Arsenal initially had the better chances. Former Bielefeld Stefan Ortega in the City gate was forced to save by Takehiro Tomiyasu (5th) and Leandro Trossard (21st). Led by national team player İlkay Gündoğan as captain”Citizens” initially played a little less determined – and Kevin De Bruyne flicked the ball just wide of the goal (25th).
