Eleven Venezuelan referees present at the Conmebol Preseason

Deportes.- A group of 11 Venezuelan FIFA officials moved to the headquarters of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) in the city of Luque, Paraguay to complete the cycle of work carried out in the 2023 Pre-Season of Referees and Assistant Referees.

Tulio Moreno, Alexis Herrera, Jose Uzcategui, Jesus Valenzuela, Angel Arteaga, Emikar Calderas, Carlos Lopez, Jorge Urrego, Antoni Garcia, Jose Argote and Juan Soto are the match officials who work under the monitoring and evaluation of the Referees Commission of the confederation.

The Venezuelan representation is part of the 3rd group (from January 22 to 25) of a work cycle that began last Thursday, January 12, with the presence of members from the 10 member countries. High-intensity physical tests, theoretical classes, match simulations and instruction in the VAR system make up the schedule for the kickoff of the 2023 refereeing season in South America.
