“Gonzalo Eugenio García finished his time at Boca Juniors. In these two and a half seasons he led the team to two National League semifinals plus a return to international competitions such as the Basketball Champions League and the South American League,” the club reported.
“Due to the latest negative results in his third season, the coach resigned from the technical direction, ending his contract. We appreciate the work and commitment shown during this time in our institution”expressed the club on its social networks.
Gonzalo García is one of the most prestigious coaches in the competition and the “Xeneize” put together a squad with aspirations to the title but so far he has won seven wins and eight losses in the National League.
In previous seasons, Boca finished in fourth position and recovered some of the historical renown that one of the greatest exponents of the competition had after fighting for permanence for several years.
